Shitty 4 days, need a blood transfusion

January 25, Galina/Halia has had a tough 4 days with many tests being done with her.  Today she had to stop eating at 7 as the wound vac should be placed this morning sometime around 10:30.  She had low hemoglobin level, too white, and so the doctors decided to give a blood transfusion.  Galina/Halia’s body was weak and she was not interested in playing or eating.  During the time of the wound vac installation the doctor saw fluid accumulating in her pacemaker area, so they had to drain it out and send the cultures away to the lab.  They gave her Morphine to help sleep. They noticed the upper side of her chest was swollen and little soft without redness.  They decided to do the ultrasound and see what is there.  After that, she had to have another IV for her blood transfusion which takes 3 hours at the same time and she had 2 antibiotics going through her pic line.  She was sleeping for a few hours and they felt they had to wake her up to eat as she had no food since 7am.  She wasn’t happy.  She ended up throwing up everything.  She had a wipe down and was in bed at 8pm.  There were no results from labs yet, maybe tomorrow.
